Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with an environmental products trading company that is looking to hire a legal counsel to join the team in either Brussels or Budapest

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for supporting the business across a variety of legal and compliance tasks & issues.
• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including international commodity trading agreements.
• Reviewing compliance policies and procedures, ensuring internal procedures adhere to relevant legal requirements.
• Directing corporate projects such as establishing subsidiaries and overseeing licensing procedures.
• Reports into the Head of Legal.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years’ experience working with & negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of English law and laws of the EU/other national laws.
• Experience working in a MIFID-regulated financial firm or commodity trading company.
• Fluent English language skills with the ability to communicate confidently and commercially.
• To be based in Brussels or Budapest.
