Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with a European payment institution who are looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to set up a new desk in Spain.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Point of contact for all Spanish legal and compliance matters.
• Control regulations reporting and be the local representative for regulators and external third parties.
• Assist in opening accounts for clients, providing help and responding to queries.
• Managing the risk responsibilities, reporting and mitigating potential exposures.
• Role reports into CEO based in Luxembourg.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in financial legal or compliance (AML) positions within a financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of local and European legal regulations.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory, fluency in French is advantageous.
• Must have a driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
• The role will be based in Spain (Candidate has to be based in Spain, Relocation is Unavailable).
