Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with commodity trading house looking to hire a financial controller to join the team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for/In charge of closing monthly accounts for the group.
• Maintain Financial Reporting controls and look to improve the process/framework.
• Manage and review tax filing processes and trial balance reconciliations for the entity, escalating any concerns to management.
• Assist global process when required.
• Reports into Global Financial Controller

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in accounting or an internship within financial services/Big 4.
• Strong knowledge on SAP, experience with Calypso is advantageous.
• Fluency in French is mandatory.
• Worked with financial services and products, any experience within commodities is advantageous.
• Role based in London (opportunity for hybrid working)
