Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with an international financial institution looking to hire a compliance officer to join the team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Responsible for evaluating operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identifying risks and providing solutions/improvements.
• Carrying out compliance testing on new products.
• Oversight of the firm’s implementation of AML/CTF policies and procedures.
• Reports into the Board of Directors.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5+ years’ experience.
• Understand applicable law and regulations including EU AML Directive, WTR, and EMR.
• Generalist experience across a range of regulatory and compliance areas.
• Strong understanding of payments and cross-border remittance.
• Based in London.
